Tamar doesn’t hold her tongue when giving her opinion on the recently released 6-part docuseries Surviving R. Kelly. While many chose to focus exclusively on the heinous acts of the serial child molester, Tamar made a point to call out those complicit enablers that made those decades of abuse possible. The Braxton Family Values star was not the only one to address the controversy stemming from the documentary. Diane Haughton, the mother of the late Aaliyah Haughton also spoke out. Instead of condemning Kelly for abusing her daughter, however, she took a different route and denied that sexual activity took place at all. We find this extremely curious considering the fact that Kelly did marry Aaliyah at the age of 15…but we have a feeling that the Haughton family’s ownership of Kelly’s musical publishing might have something to do with the denial…allegedly.
