Ariana Grande released a new song from her upcoming album called “Thank U, Next.” In the song she opens about her failed relationships with her exes, namedropping rappers Big Sean and the late Mac Miller, comedian Pete Davidson, and her backup dancer Ricky Alvarez.
About Big Sean, she says:
Thought I’d end up with Sean, but he wasn’t a match
About Ricky Alvarez, she says:
Wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh
About Pete Davidson, she says:
Even almost got married, and for Pete I’m so thankful
This is the first song Ariana released since her very public break up, and she seems to have no regrets. She lastly made a tribute to her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who sadly passed away this year, saying this:
Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm, because he was an angel
I must say, this one is a bop!
